Scholarship

A. Sri Milan Roy, a veteran NRI, kindly extended his benevolence by funding the following scholarships to the students. Scholarships are generally awarded on the dual basis of merit and financial condition of the students. Eligible candidates are instructed to apply on notification in this regard:

“Maharaja Sankariprasad Singh Deo Memorial Scholarship” (MSSMS) to be awarded to selected students who have passed from this College and currently pursuing regular UGC-approved post-graduation courses.
“Sampat Roy Memorial Scholarship I” (SRMS-I) to be awarded to selected students of this College who passed Semester-IV examination of the affiliating university, and have already been admitted to Semester V in this College.
“Sampat Roy Memorial Scholarship II” (SRMS-II) to be awarded to selected students of this College who passed Semester-II examination of the affiliating university and have already been admitted to Semester-III in this College.
“Sampat Roy Memorial Scholarship III” (SRMS-III) to be awarded to selected students of this College as per his/her overall performances in Part I, Part II, and College examinations.

B. “Nagendra-Radharani Memorial Scholarship” (NRMS) to be awarded to selected students of this college as per his/her overall performances in Sem II, Sem IV, and Sem VI in the discipline of Philosophy.

C. Half Free & Full Freeship facility are available for students on the basis of merit-cum-means.

D. Others: College supports all the scholarships provided by West Bengal State Government including Kanyashree, Vivekananda Scholarship (Merit-cum-Means), Chief Ministers Relief Fund, OASIS, and Aikyashree. College also forwarded for National Portal for Scholarship (NPS) provided by Central Government, and two private scholarship provided by Priyambada Birla Scholarship Fund and Jalan Scholarship Fund.
