Excursions

Botanical excursions are organized in view to study wild plant diversity with their ecological condition, forest ecosystem, cultivation methods by visiting locally and different district of the state. Recently the department organized a local excursion to Sericulture centre, Kashipur, Purulia to study about the Mulberry crop production technology as well as the taxonomy of the mulberry plant and associated plant species.

Department of Botany in collaboration with SAP unit and IQAC of the college jointly organized a National level Webinar on “Recycling Waste: Management in Theory & Practice”.
